Recording dues payments
Track who has paid, accept online payments, and keep balances current.
Dues are the lifeblood of an association’s budget. Stewardly tracks each unit’s dues, what’s been paid, and the running balance. Residents can pay online, and the board can record payments made by check, Zelle, or Venmo so every dollar is accounted for in one ledger.
Online dues payments
Once your association connects its payout account (see “Connecting a bank account”), residents can pay dues online by bank transfer. Paid amounts post to their unit automatically and update the balance — no manual entry needed.
Recording an offline payment
- 1Open Dues (or Payments) from the dashboard sidebar.
- 2Find the unit and select “Record payment”.
- 3Enter the amount, date, and method (check, Zelle, Venmo, cash).
- 4Save. The unit’s balance updates immediately.
Tip · Publishing your Zelle and Venmo details in settings lets residents pay you directly; you then record those payments here so the ledger stays complete.
