Assigning members to units
Link each homeowner to their home so dues and records line up correctly.
Assigning a member to a unit connects that person to their home’s dues, balance, and records. A unit can have more than one resident (for example, co-owners or spouses), and a member is assigned to exactly one unit.
Assign or change a unit
- 1Open Members and select the homeowner.
- 2Choose their unit from the unit list.
- 3Save. Their dues and balance now reflect that unit.
When someone moves
If a resident sells and moves out, remove them from the unit and assign the new owner. The unit’s dues history stays with the unit, so the ledger remains accurate across ownership changes.
Tip · Importing members via CSV with a unit column assigns everyone to their unit automatically — far faster for a full roster.
