Assigning tasks to members

Give every task an owner so it’s always clear who’s responsible.

A task without an owner tends to become nobody’s job. Assigning each task to a specific board member makes responsibility explicit and lets each person see their own list at a glance.

Assign or reassign

  1. 1Open Tasks and select the task.
  2. 2Choose an assignee from your board members.
  3. 3Save. The assignee can now see it among their tasks.

Keeping work moving

As work progresses, update a task’s status from To do to In progress and finally Done. The status keeps the whole board informed without anyone having to ask for an update.

Tip · Review open tasks at the start of each board meeting — it’s a fast way to hold follow-ups accountable.
