Creating your first task

Capture the work your board needs to do so nothing falls through the cracks.

The Task Tracker is your board’s shared to-do list. Instead of action items living in email threads and one person’s memory, every job — fixing a gate, getting bids, following up on a violation — lives in one place the whole board can see.

Create a task

  1. 1Open Tasks from the dashboard sidebar.
  2. 2Select “New task”.
  3. 3Give it a clear title and, optionally, a description and due date.
  4. 4Set a priority and assign it to a board member.
  5. 5Save. It appears on the board’s task list right away.

Tasks from meetings

Action items you flag during a meeting become tasks automatically, so decisions made in the room turn into tracked work without anyone re-typing them. See the Meetings section for how that connects.

Tip · Write task titles as actions — “Get three landscaping bids” beats “Landscaping”. Future-you will thank present-you.
