Recording votes
Log motions and capture how each board member voted, with a timestamp.
An accurate voting record protects the board and keeps homeowners informed. Stewardly lets you record each motion and exactly how every board member voted, so there’s never a dispute about what was decided.
Record a motion and votes
- 1Open the meeting and find the “Motions & Votes” section.
- 2Add a motion describing what’s being decided.
- 3For each board member, record Yes, No, or Abstain.
- 4Set the outcome — Passed, Failed, or Tabled. A running tally is kept for you.
A permanent record
Each motion stores its outcome, the per-member votes, and a timestamp. The voting record is preserved with the meeting, so you can reference it at future meetings or when answering homeowner questions about a past decision.
Tip · Phrase motions clearly and specifically — the motion text becomes part of your permanent record.
