Taking notes during a meeting
Capture minutes live so they’re done when the meeting ends — not days later.
The best minutes are written while the meeting is happening, not reconstructed from memory afterward. Stewardly lets you take notes directly in the meeting record, so your minutes are essentially finished the moment you adjourn.
Take live minutes
- 1Open the meeting and select “Start meeting” to mark it in progress.
- 2Type your notes in the Meeting Minutes editor as discussion happens.
- 3Select “Save minutes” to capture your work as you go.
- 4When you’re finished, select “Mark complete”.
Turning discussion into follow-ups
When the board agrees on a follow-up, add it as an action item right on the meeting. Each action item becomes a task in the Task Tracker automatically, so decisions don’t evaporate when the meeting ends.
Tip · Draft minutes stay visible to the board only. Residents don’t see them until you publish — so you can tidy them up first.
