Adding homeowners
Bring residents onto the platform so they can see dues, documents, and announcements.
Homeowners (residents) get a focused view of their own unit: their dues balance, association documents, announcements, meeting minutes, and a way to message the board. Adding them is optional to start, but it’s what turns Stewardly into a community hub rather than just a back-office tool.
Add residents one at a time
- 1Open Members and select “Invite member”.
- 2Enter the resident’s name and email and choose the role “Homeowner”.
- 3Assign them to their unit so their dues and records line up correctly.
- 4Send the invite — they’ll set a password and gain access to their resident portal.
Adding many residents at once
If you already have a roster in a spreadsheet, you don’t need to add residents one by one. Use the CSV import to upload names, emails, and unit assignments in bulk. See “Importing members via CSV” for the column format.
Tip · Residents only see their own unit’s information. They can never see another homeowner’s dues or contact details.
