Inviting board members
Give the rest of your board access so everyone can manage the community together.
Board members get elevated access in Stewardly: they can manage units, post announcements, schedule meetings, record dues, and run reports. Homeowners get a resident-only view. You can invite as many board members as your board needs — there are no per-seat fees.
Send an invite
- 1Open Members from the dashboard sidebar.
- 2Select “Invite member” and enter their name and email.
- 3Choose the role “Board member” (or “Board admin” for full control).
- 4Send the invite. They’ll receive an email with a link to set their password and join.
Board admin vs. board member
A board admin has full control, including billing, payment settings, and the ability to change other members’ roles. A board member can manage day-to-day community operations but cannot change billing or remove other board members. Most associations keep one or two board admins and add the rest as board members.
Tip · Invites don’t expire immediately, but if a member misses theirs, you can resend it from the Members page at any time.
