How billing works

Free trial, secure payments through Stripe, and where to find your invoices.

Every association starts with a free trial — full access, no credit card required. When you’re ready, you choose a plan and enter payment details to continue without interruption. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; Stewardly never stores your card number.

Starting a paid plan

  1. 1Open Billing from the dashboard sidebar.
  2. 2Choose your plan and billing cycle (monthly or annual).
  3. 3You’ll be taken to Stripe’s secure checkout to enter payment details.
  4. 4After payment, your plan activates immediately and your trial converts to a subscription.

Invoices and receipts

Every charge generates an invoice you can view and download from the billing portal, reachable through the Billing page. Annual plans are billed once a year; monthly plans renew each month on the date you subscribed.

Tip · Billing is managed by board admins only. If you can’t see billing options, ask a board admin to update your role.
